{"id":1119,"date":"2021-07-28T13:36:21","date_gmt":"2021-07-28T11:36:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/icmi.it\/prodotti\/reinforced-gummed-paper\/"},"modified":"2023-05-02T11:59:46","modified_gmt":"2023-05-02T09:59:46","slug":"reinforced-gummed-paper","status":"publish","type":"prodotti","link":"https:\/\/www.icmi.it\/en\/products\/reinforced-gummed-paper\/","title":{"rendered":"REINFORCED GUMMED PAPER"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>COMPOSITION<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Normal gummed paper tape are made in accordance with the German standards DIN 55476 page 1 and essentially made up of two strips of Kraft paper hot glued together (~70\u00b0C) upon the interposition of fibreglass threads: some positioned lengthwise and others in an \u201cX\u201d form with an angle of 37\u00b0.\r\nThe application of vegetable glue (starch gum, standard spreading) or animal glue (gelatine, spreading on request) on paper strips complete the tape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COMPONENTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>UPPER STRIP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Made of Havana Kraft paper or coloured on request, with different weights based on the type of tape to be obtained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LOWER STRIP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Made of Kraft paper with different weights based on the type of tape to be obtained and carefully spread with glue.\r\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>REINFORCING FIBRE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fibreglass filaments of different consistencies and quantities based on the tape to be obtained. Threads less than 68 tex (1 tex = 1g\/km) are not used so as to guarantee suitable resistance.\r\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GLUE<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vegetable glue (V) or animal glue (A) that with the correct humidification guarantees a rapid, secure and long-lasting grip of the tape on the clean, but not prepared, walls of the packaging. 25 to 27 g\/m\u00b2 of glue is applied (+ \u2013 2g\/m\u00b2) depending on the type of tape.\r\nAvailable with animal glue (gelatine) on request, as well as those types that are normally produced with vegetable glues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SUPPLY CONDITIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tapes are normally supplied on 70 mm diameter cores for machinable reels and without cores for dispensers. The gummed side faces outwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>USE CONDITIONS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the tape is used in an environment with a temperature between 12\u00b0C and 17\u00b0C, hot water (35\u00b0C) should be used which improves the holding speed.
